Enhancing Quality, Access and Fostering Education Opportunities for Conflict Affected Children

Activity Subject: Teachers and Education personnel capacity enhanced to deliver quality education, PFA, case identification of psychosocial distress, abuse, and neglect, GBV awareness training, the Child Protection Policy, Code of Conduct.

Project/Activity Aim: 128 teachers and education personnel received professional development.

Training session conducted, list of attendees, pre and post evaluation 1 facilitators, teachers and counselors.

Summary of the Project/Activity: training was delivered over 11 days.
“Parent DEAL” and “Modified behavior of children” training were included for the first time during the project.
Trainees attended the training in four non-formal centers; Ein Issa, Tel al-saman,Tishreen and Hazeemah.

A training was delivered over 7 days during the fourth week of April.
Training covered:
• PFA
• Case identification of psychosocial distress
• GBV awareness
• Confidentiality and referral mechanisms
• Service mapping
• Child Protection Policy
Trainees attended the training in four non-formal centres; Ein Issa, Tel al-saman,Tishreen and Hazeemah.

Comments: The activity was carried out in Raqqa city and its countryside.
